Housing projects may face more delays ahead

Delayed housing projects have become common in India—a recent study said one-fourth of all residential projects in the country are delayed—and the problem is likely to get a lot worse going by the sheer number of apartments scheduled for delivery till 2016.

Developers in the National Capital Region, for example, have committed to deliver more than 5.7 lakh apartments between 2013 and 2016, which is almost six times the number of houses they built in the preceding four years. The story is similar across Indian cities.




With many developers facing a fund crunch, it is unlikely that the industry will amass enough resources to scale up building and delivery so dramatically, particularly when the economy is going through a slowdown.

Gurgaon Manesar Master Plan 2025

Today I am going to cover Gurgaon Manesar Master Plan 2025.Gurgaon has got 115 Sectors which includes the new sectors created around Northern Periphery Road (NPR) or  Dwarka Expressway as well as Southern Periphery Road ( SPR). I will give a brief description of the areas in various sectors.

Sector 1 to 56 These sectors are old sectors and primarily got projects from HUDA and group housing societies.Part of these sectors are in old gurgaon like Sec 14 ,15,17 etc while some of the sectors are on the other side Sec 43,44,56 etc.

Sector 57- 80 These are new sectors carved around Southern Periphery Road ( SPR). These sectors are closest to the developed sectors and lots of high end projects from IREO, M3M are launched in these sectors in last 2 years.There are new additions to sectors like Sector 63A and Sector 67A in this area.

Sector  81- 98 These sectors are close to NH8 and Industrial Model Township ( IMT) Manesar.These are also new sectors and lost of new projects are coming in these sectors as well.Although Infrastructure is missing in these sectors but still there is good demand of houses in these sectors as well.

Sector 99 to 115 These are the sectors along the  Northern Periphery Road , although this expressway is still not developed but lots of builders have launched projects in these sectors including some ultra premium projects like from QVC and Shoba Developers, Indiabulls.
